Armorers
A resource page for people in Far Isles Canada interested in making Medieval arms and armour. The guild, the forum and this page are temporarily being managed by Eideard, until such time as we elect a Guild Head.

If you have an interest in joining the guild, or in participating in armour classes (whether to teach or to learn), or just have questions, please feel free to leave a note in the Armorer's' Forum.

Herbal
This is formed to encourage knowledge of useful plants, their appearance and their workings. We also study the social position, lives, and working conditions of Medieval persons using plants.
Sub-Branches of the Guild will practice the Culinary Arts, the Dyer's Arts, and the Cosmetic Arts. When sufficient persons are interested in these related fields, they will be encouraged to start their own affiliated but independent Guilds.

Spinsters and Websters
We try to foster medieval forms of spinning, weaving, and related fibre crafts, with special focus on research and reconstructions of early methods and equipment. We demo skills, teach and take classes, undertake personal projects and share our revelations with whoever will listen. (We may use modern or out-of-period equipment, but the process and results are documentable to period sources.) Anyone is welcome to join who is interested.
