         Far Isles BC

From Euan of Loch Finlaggan,
Viceroy of Far Isles BC,
Duke of Nova Albion.
Year the first.

What is Chivalry?

Chivalry is an ideal code of behavior for Nobility, men at arms or any who aspire to attain the epitome of interaction between people.

It combines courage and steadfastness with personal honour, modest and unassuming manners and a blazing loyalty to a cause, an ideal or to a Lord or Lady.

Be it from the conventions of the battlefield or the manners of courts, let it be the code of Gentle Behavior. The ideal of devotion to your Lord or Lady. An ideal shown, not only in your heroism on the field but in liberality and restraint in conduct at all times.

This shall raise us above the level of the savage and make us an honoured and worthy defender of the weak and those unable to so defend themselves.

So my challenge to you all as your chosen Viceroy is to be exemplary in your chivalry and show the way for others by your example.
