Our attempt is to provide a melting pot, an Oracle of information if you will, where our members can present, exchange and discuss things medieval in an environment that promotes understanding, learning and enlightenment. This site, as our group, is mindful of the Constitution and Policies of our Society and in so saying, will make every attempt to promote discussion suitable for all ages.

My suggestion to those posting to the forum pages is to "think like a new member" when in discussion. Not everyone is privy to terms and phrases that we have come to use and be familiar with. Keep to your topic. When others are looking for information they appreciate not having to scan through unrelated posts.

Wherever possible use bibliography. It is a nice thing to do to provide others with the results of your research. If you are stating "an opinion", please indicate so. It is very easy for someone to take what is said as a fact when it may not be so.

I encourage everyone to take a moment to look through the sites of your cousin guilds. Much can be gleaned from viewing another's efforts. They may have interrelated information, a new way of presenting things or offer yet another area of interest to you.
